Prep time: 15 minutes
Heat: indirect medium heat (350°F-400°F)
Grilling time: 20 – 30 minutes
2 tablespoon of aFire Seafood Rub
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 Salmon Fillets
1 aFire gourmet Cedar plank, soaked in water for at least 60 minutes.
2 Lemon wedges (for garnish)
FIRST. Mix all the ingredients, except for lemon wedges together and rub and coat salmon with mixture.
SECOND. Prepare the grill for indirect cooking over medium heat. Place the soaked plank over direct medium heat and close the lid.
LAST. Arrange the salmon on the smoking plank and cook over indirect medium heat, with the lid closed, for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove from the grill serve with lemon wedge and enjoy.
*Grilling tip: To prevent your food from sticking to the plank, brush a little olive oil on to the plank. Spray some water on the plank, if burning.
